The 2nd EU-Japan EPA Forum will be held on May 16-17, 2019 at the Principe di Saovia in Milan as an EU wide Japan gathering of industry experts, business leaders, senior executives, policy chiefs and diplomats, all discussing and sharing alternative insights and views on the commercialisation of the recently ratified and implemented EUJapan Economic Partnership Agreement.

Themed as “the EPA the new superhighway for trade and investment”. Industry leaders will demonstrate the values of the bilateral accord beyond simply increasing sales, margins and market access, and where Joint-Ventures, Mergers, Acquisitions and the prospects of large-scale projects will bring significant new investments to European businesses and growth opportunities for SMEs.

The 2-day EU wide event will focus on industries such as AI, Agri-Business, Automotive, Aviation, Banking, Chemicals, Commodities, Electronics, FMCG, Financial Services, Machinery, Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences, Robotics, Supply Chain, Technology and Transportation. With more than 64 speakers, including the EU Commissioner for Trade, Cecilia Malmström, Mr. Masaki Sakuyama, Chairman of Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, The Japanese Ambassador to the E.U., H.E.
